It’s 8th of August and somehow this date in my mind is connected to Waikiki beach of Oahu Island. Whenever I think of Hawaii’s I see the picture of surfing folks on the waves of crystal clear water… A friend of mine left me the message yesterday, saying that my painting no. 7 reminds him of the trip to Hawaii Island five years ago. What a nice coincident…
I’ve got inspired to do some painting last night. It was midnight already, so I decided to go ahead with the mix of run and walk first to increase my energy level. I continued to paint until this morning and now I’m typing these words…
This painting means a lot to me, at first self believe-ness, especially in the ability to live your own life as you feel in your authentic self, also creating, discovering and changing things with more ease than before. Enjoyment of the moment of flow and surfing on the wave of current circumstances or things that we have to change to move on in life.
I believe that we all have the melody inside us, which wants to be heard, not just by ourselves, but by others as well. The melody that adds value to life and makes the world a better place to live. The melody or inside talent could takes many form of expression, it could be painting, writing songs and novels, photo shooting, creating music or working on something that gives you wings. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living to express yourself, even by running your blog you express yourself…
We all know that calling of inner voice in the moment of inspiration, which speaks many languages in one purpose… to reach our consciousness… and then, Whenever you feel it’s time… to do… whatever you feel inspired to, you just do it without hesitation, swimming or flying on the wave of inspired action. There’s no other need in the process of creation, except expression of the inner self.
For the last a couple of days, I spoke with my friends about magical things in life, which gives us pure joy and the essence of life. For me personally, important part of daily life is to act from the perspective of fun and joy, because I noticed that those two were badly missed in my life. I created special initiative to bring myself back to life again, which is called ‘Just for fun’. I’m not sure about you and your world, but I discovered in my one, that some things in life’s cycle began to repeat themselves, especially the ones that are so predictable, like work, rest, shopping, bills, holidays, etc.
And when I compared all the areas of my life in the level of joy or enjoyment of daily tasks and activities, I was shocked that, I’ve got nearly zero points in the scale of 100 in some of them, that I used to think are OK 🙂 so that’s why… I decided to take some action everyday to move forward one step at a time 🙂 I wasn’t doing any scientific stuff, and to be honest, I was just thinking about the activities that gives me joy or used to give me a lot of joy as a youngster or in early childhood.
Writing the things down in my notebook for 5 minutes a day, did a great job to find the ones that really sparks me up. I started to notice positive changes of my attitude in just about two weeks time. I discovered joy and pleasure of playing soccer, cycling and listening to my favourite music, especially some old and classic tunes from the vinyl’s. The other thing is that, from the very first day of taking notes, I experience constant and regular flow of ideas, while doing tasks more enjoyable way.
It might be valuable for you as well, to remind yourself of the things that sparks you up as well, because I believe, that there’s a lot of more in us, that want’s to see the daylight. Ideas, initiatives and movements has it’s own time frame, and as I noticed, whenever we don’t act on them, they seemed to change their location like clouds on the sky.
The air is circulating around the globe with it’s own correlation to the water element, they are in specific dance of movement creation all the time. I’ve noticed this fact in my paintings as well. The day when I created No. 37 revealed the name of my painting style, and opened the door to the new collection of more movement and texture paintings.
Is it possible to make 8th of August an international day of fun ?
Beautiful painting and very enjoyable post. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

Thank you… the texture is awesome, one of the kids of primary school I visited, just before the summer, couldn’t stop touching them somehow, he said that they are like fingerprints of the soul, little Jake could easily read all of the paintings by the feelings, especially the positive emotions that were present during painting process… which wasn’t so obvious for the adults 🙂

Yeah, the adults may try to figure out what the meaning behind the painting is but I think the most important thing would be the emotion received by watching the painting 🙂

Yes and it… by the way, kids seems to have closer connection with the heart, so it’s easier for them to read any thoughts and feelings without judgement of the mind, they pretty good at it 🙂

That’s true, I push myself to learn more new things everyday cause the child inside is dying with more and more prejudices I made 😦

Wonderful idea Swav. And Lovely painting.
And your words are so so true. There is melody everywhere, whether you can hear them or not. This joy is often infectious, it always spreads and make other joyful. You have brought out the essence of life in this post. Irrespective of what kind of life we lead, certain things are destined to us by nature. And this joy is one among several of those. I will be glad to be part of such a movement. And what better way to express it than the form of art.
Way to go, Swav 🙂

Thanks mate 🙂 I do appreciate your words… A good few years ago I experienced fantastic state of pure joy and smile, I would say lucky mile of 1000’s sunshines… I blog posted about it here: http://wp.me/p4mUeK-4a
