About

Hi there,

This blog has been created with spark of energy and inspiration in 2014. Mostly as the notebook of thoughts, discoveries about life and expression of deeper self..

Somewhere along the way, intuitive writing, photography and painting became an interesting mix of looking at life..

Enjoy reading this blog through the lens of my camera, the touch of artistic self and storytelling on canvas.

With regards,

Swav

    1. Hi Swav,

Thank you for introducing yourself here and for sharing your writing, photography and painting for us to savour. Equipped with the pen, camera and paintbrush, you are truly a triple threat on the artistic front. πŸ™‚

  1. Hey there Newbie Spikey! Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.

Blogging since June 2013, my aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my β€˜point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations, opinions and lighter-hearted stuff thrown in for good measure…..

Thanks again and hope you have a great day,

    UNCLE SPIKE

    1. Thanks Uncle Spike, Now I have much better image of the Spike name in mind… the previous one is connected to Notting Hill movie with Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant from 1999… A year later from that date, I went for a trip of a lifetime ending up in Ireland somehow. I still remember my first conversation with farmers in McKeever’s Pub near Slane…

    1. Thank you so much… I’d love to organize exhibition at some stage πŸ™‚ I’m thinking about connection of colorful paintings, the place of an old warehouse and some classic tunes of electronic sound from the 90’s…

  2. Great bio Swav,

“while building the trust to the natural process of change” and “discovery of my inner talent, which was waiting for almost 25 years to see the daylight”….I can so relate. Going to check out your art now πŸ™‚

        1. I draw this badge in the pub on the way back home from some place in Northern Ireland, the man behind the bar was laughing, that with the pint of guinness I might end up with completely different drawing πŸ™‚ anyway… I’ve got free espresso πŸ™‚

      1. My absolute pleasure! Your work is very interesting and inspiring and so it’s no surprise that you have been nominated many times!
Of course take your time! I took over a month to respond to mine – they can be time consuming!
In the mean time I look forward to reading and seeing more from you πŸ™‚

        1. You are absolutely right, there’s no point to hassle… I personally believe that the perfect time to do so, will come to me naturally, then all that needs to be done incl. follow up, answering the questions, etc… becomes the joy of life πŸ™‚ Cheers

    1. Thank you… Blogging allows me to improve my writing skills and can’t wait for writing 201 in December, because I still have my ‘longread’ story unfinished, it’s called ‘Mark, The Winemaker’ … a short story about two best friends, which paths of life diverged 15 years ago, and somehow were reconnected by the series of events, with the final unexpected meeting in Monte Carlo…

    1. I’d like to thank you for nomination… I’ll do my best to reply for ‘premio dardos’ πŸ™‚ but currently other four nominations on the queue… Where is that name came from by the way ? do you have any links to the original roots of this award… There was a time when I was tracking back ‘the liebster award’ and have found some interesting blogs out there…

      1. Stawomir…I have always been into photography. I have been using digital compact cameras for some years although I bought film SLR camera many years ago in late 1990’s. Only 2-3 years back I shifted to DSLR. even though I travel and blog about my pictures and thoughts, I’m more active on jaipurthrumylens blog! πŸ™‚
