One Sunday, around 6 o’clk evening time, Betty noticed that, there is no milk in the fridge, so she asked me to get one from Dunnes…

Well, I was so busy, finishing some project for Monday, and had no intention at all to get up and go… but suddenly, I got the same feeling, as the one I experienced during my first week of summer this year, and I said yes…

It was kind of weird, but I trusted my gut feeling, took my wallet and were on the way in seconds. Those days, we used to live in Drogheda, on the North Quay, beside newly opened Scotch Hall Shopping Centre, and honestly Dunnes was just 5 minutes away of walking distance.

At the end of the bridge, just before the entrance, I stopped somehow, looked down, and noticed 50 euro note under my shoe… WOW, what a luck, came through my mind instantly. I began walking further on wondering, what else will happen the most positive way…

I got my grocery shopping done and was 4th, maybe 5th in the queue with the basket. Those days, I used to love doing shopping in that store, there was amazing Store Manager, Roy… with great skills and people oriented focus, but this is for another post…

First woman in the queue, suddenly began to argue with a girl on the till, about some 10 cents, difference in some product she have picked from a clearance line… The atmosphere has changed immediately, some pressure, negative emotions pictured on their faces. Strange…

I was looking at this situation from the point of observer.. the woman was served and went away, but the atmosphere of dark clouds stayed, probably in the memory of us around in the queue. Then another woman was served by the girl on the till, and then something magical happen…

Another woman before me, had a little baby with her, and… I looked at this baby… baby looked at me, and smiled. It wasn’t normal smile, when we say hello to a stranger or greeting someone that we know. That was spectacular and unique, I got a feeling of something new is coming positive way, this smile radiated an energy of clear intention around, I started to smile, deeply within myself even more…

His mother smiled, a man before her smiled too, and that girl on a till looked our way and smiled also, immediately a smile of 1000’s Sunshines showed up on our faces, for me it was an amazing experience…

This wave of smile was spreading across the store and floating in many directions, you could easily notice where it moves, goes and travels, because people smiled and some started to laugh. No borders, no barriers, no stops just a warm cloud of deep heart feelings, from one little baby…

Think about it, whenever you might think of something impossible, or hard, or any other obstacle during a day…

One smile, deep down, within yourself, can change your day!
