I Love Mondays

I don’t know exactly how this happened to me, but since I’ve changed my attitude of Mondays completely… I feel way better, excited and full of energy, whenever I think of the new week, which already has started 😉 I’ve got an interesting idea on the way back home from the grocery shop again, but first… Here is my Day Seven post of Writing 101, Blogging University.

As usual on Monday morning, I went to the shop for a few bits and pieces, done my shopping list and grabbed the newspaper also. There was no queue on the tills, so I’ve picked the Mary’s one to say Hello… Typical conversation of ‘ How are you today? ‘ went over some other direction than usual…

It was Monday morning, the first day of the week and I was so happy, smiley and excited…

Mary asked me: Why you are so excited today? Did you won the lottery last night?

I said: Yeah, something like that or close enough, as I guess. I’m excited because it’s Monday, the new week of adventures, creation, fun, challenges, and whatever that needs to be done to be done like, and there’s another thing, I’m writing about my new start-up and…

What do you think about the Mondays, by the way?

I said with expression of curiosity… Then…

I saw changes in Mary’s body posture, she moved forward and twisted, like under the pressure of heavy stones on her shoulders. It’s easy to notice, when someone is about to say something meaningful, over conversation or a dialogue.

Her breath started to shallow, the tone of voice went down a bit and her whole face changed noticeably… Then she said something very deep… but I don’t think it’s appropriate to share it right now, you know it’s personal stuff. I’m sure you understand.

We spoke for a couple of minutes, sharing different points of view and attitudes between each other. This moment seemed to me like conversation with the best friend ever. No BS… just straight and honest talk, and also politely stated feedback with the most appropriate way.

Then something has started to change… I’ve got the feeling of polarity on both sides, my one naturally positive and out going and her more negative and closed… a mix of different vibrations showed up in the air and started to blend his own mix of flavour.

I’ve picked this up very quickly and started to use some kind of linguistic Aikido, as part of my natural habit for change with the most positive outcome in mind as possible. I focused my attention on the most valuable information, which allowed me to reach the common sense of this conversation which came up at the cross point of both sides.

I looked in her eyes, I took a deep breath in and with the same tonality of voice I said something like that…

You know Mary, in the past… I used to be stress out and I felt sort of anxiety about the following week. This attitude wasn’t healthy at all, and I knew it somehow, deep down inside, but at the same time I had no idea how to deal with it… This state of being didn’t create the drive to move forward or spark of energy, which is needed to deal with daily challenges, tasks and to do list… and I couldn’t explain why, but I was getting so frustrated instead of being excited about the up coming Monday.

There was absolutely no come on let’s go attitude at all… but on the other side, I never thought that someday it will be so easy to change. I never spent much of my time to really think of it, I was too busy those days. Today I’m simply active or not, which I already mentioned in one of my previous posts.

I’m not a big fan of being busy today, I’ve got rid of this word from my vocabulary including the meaning of it and I’m really happy… I never thought of how do I want to feel, react or proceed with something which is about to begin, I mean a week or the brand new 7 days of my life, the new chapter of the book of life that, I write myself every single day…

Suddenly some breakthrough appeared during our conversation and we started to laugh of this whole scenario…

Then Mary has said something that stayed with me until today, You really looks excited about the Monday’s Swav. I don’t know how you’ve changed so easy, but I’d like to know more about it, maybe you gonna publish it somewhere I can read about. The story you shared with me could be an inspiration for others and also a great example of the whole process of change… or you can even start I Love Mondays initiative…

I felt embarrassed because of the number of many warm words towards myself and also fired up. I never thought that this might be useful for someone else and… What a coincident of the events that happened over the last few days, which brought me the inspiration and joy of intuitive writing, also made the plans for my new start-up more clear and visible than before… and that thing about publishing of my works in my first book ever is…

I can’t even explain with the words of how I feel… The closest word that is up in my mind is… the bliss feeling, so maybe that’s why I’m so excited, and my focus is on the brighter future… but I love Mondays since months… hmm…

I’m still thinking… How do I feel now?

The why, what and how questions are rumbling inside my head, creating specific kind of inspiration to move forward to make this idea live. Currently… I’m experiencing so much of the movement, I mean constant movement forward, which I also expressed on one of my latest paintings which description is available here.

I’d love to ask you, the reader of this blog…

What do you think of the idea… I Love Mondays initiative?

You might have some valuable feedback, or a question that will allow us to find the right answers. Revealing the secret or specific steps of how to do it… on the other side… It could be something very normal for most of us here, the participants of Blogging University, which are naturally excited about the Mondays and start of the new week…

I’m waiting for your reply 🙂

WOW… I’ve just noticed that for the first time of my life, I’ve reached +1100 words in a single post 🙂 Is there any badge for this on wordpress platform ? I’m even more excited now…

Warm regards, Swav
